Funding Opportunity: Innovative Postsecondary Models

A new funding opportunity for leaders reimagining how students access, experience, and benefit from postsecondary education in the United States is now accepting applications through September 14, 2026.

Together, Gates Foundation, Ascendium Education Group, College Futures Foundation, Haas Jr. Fund, Raikes Foundation, ECMC Foundation, Lumina Foundation, and Strada Education Foundation are investing $7 million in the models proving that education can work better for all students, including those who face the greatest obstacles to opportunity.

The Innovative Postsecondary Models (IPM) Fund, managed by Panorama Global, will award grants ranging from $750,000 to $1,000,000, supporting organizations rethinking postsecondary education across four key areas — from instructional innovation and affordability to workforce alignment and expanded access. The IPM Fund is seeking strong alignment to at least one of four themes:

• Reimagining instructional design, delivery, assessment, and student support.
• Advancing affordability and financial sustainability.
• Career and workforce alignment.
• Expanded access for underserved learners.
